About Me

"Your very calm approach,

 Annabel, made me feel

 completely at ease."

AS A COACH

I’ve been coaching private individuals and small business owners since the beginning of 2000. I am professionally trained and qualified, having graduated from a two-year accredited training programme with Coach University.

I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) – the official governing body for the coaching profession, and have passed a rigorous application and exam procedure to be awarded their Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

I believe that we are, each one of us, capable of achieving anything we want. Life is there for the taking and it is up to us how we choose to live it – and make the most of it. I believe in my clients 100 per cent, and am totally committed to supporting them to move forwards towards creating successful and fulfilled lives.

My clients often send me TESTIMONIALS about how coaching has helped them.

PERSONALLY

I’ve been lucky enough to have had a varied and unusual life.  I was born in the south of England, but lived overseas for many years. So ‘change’ and the concept of ‘reinventing’ oneself is something I understand really well! I believe my broad range of life experiences helps me to understand my clients and adds to my effectiveness as a coach.

Here’s a snapshot:

bullet

Graduated as a mature student from the University of East Anglia in England with a BA (Hons) degree in Social Studies and Art History

bullet

Lived as an expat for several years in Indonesia – in SE Borneo and Jakarta

bullet

Wrote a travel book The Islands In Between about my experiences travelling ‘off the beaten path’ in Indonesia

bullet

Professional experience includes: radio and print journalism, consulting for inter-generational programmes, administration and marketing.

bullet

My latest book - 52 Ways to Handle It – a compilation of a year’s worth of inspiring, practical Coaching Tips, was published in September 2003 and revised in 2007.

bullet

My values are Integrity – Truth – Laughter – Respect – Fairness – Excellence - Peace.

"I have sometimes thought that glowing testimonials could not possibly be true, but this one is: following Annabel’s advice, and responding to her kind and constant encouragement really has changed my life … contacting her was undoubtedly one of the most useful things I have ever done."
